Something About Weddings

You know what I love about weddings?

1. Happy event. Of course, it's a celebration when two becomes one! I love watching families laughing, having the time of their lives, hugs and kisses, receiving gifts, wishing only good things.. I just love the atmosphere. The hosts are always so warm, so welcoming towards the guests. They always say "thank you for coming" but really, I'll be like "thank YOU for inviting!!"
2. Reunion. Everyone gets excited meeting familiar faces, old faces.. or I'm the only one still excited about it? I rarely attend weddings, now that I think of it because I was studying far away. OK maybe it'll take some time for me to get used to the 'every weekend pergi kenduri'. Heh. I don't think I'll ever get bored though because back to number 1 :)
3. Good food. Really, or is it just me? Something about weddings, the food served is always so good! The mains, desserts,.. basically semua lah. (What diet? Haha.) Nothing wrong with eating a lot. I too, eat everything at weddings but be careful, be balanced.
4. Teamwork. Behind every beautiful wedding, there's a group of people who've been planning it for months or even up to a year. It's not easy. You have to think about EVERYONE when it comes to events. So, as a guest, I appreciate their effort. At the end of the day, I also go back with a smile.

Schoolmates.

You know, as you grow older, you meet more & more people each and every day.. and you realise, the world is not so big after all. Everyone knows everyone. Sometimes, it's scary to think about it because what happened in your past, what you did.. you don't even remember! Could be bad, could be good, could be anything.. Haha. Oh well, have good thoughts. What I always do when meeting old faces: start from zero, get to know them again. As for us - change for the better everyday. Not for others but for ourselves :)
