Last week, I went to SABAH! with papa's side of the family. I'd say it's a big group - the fact that we rented a bus company to drive us around. Yes. I vaguely remember the last time I went to Sabah so it's nice to refresh what I felt - peaceful. Day 1 - Hello Sabah. I was the first at the airport. A minute of wait felt so long because that was all I did. Shoot . I haven't checked in. Maybe others have. Off I went to drop my luggage & went in towards the departure hall. I was excited to see the kids the most. Maybe because with them I always have an excuse to be a kid again? Haha. YAY. Reached Sabah. Look at this beauty! 2 hours and 30 minutes of flying via Malindo Airlines. My first time and I think next time, I'd opt for this before checking on Air Asia. Free basic 30kgs check-in baggage, free food on flight.. nak apa lagi. Haha. We went for a quick meal at a restaurant called BTC Caterers . I still can't forget their satay. SO ...

Awaiting houseman - that's me. So, the hot topic that's been going around: choosing hospital . It never bothered me at first. I don't have any in mind (because I don't mind anywhere) but if I have to narrow it down, somewhere close to home - for my family. Now, after a lot of people asking me if I've made up my mind or which hospital I'm planning to do my housemanship at.. I feel the need to decide pronto ! Do I feel pressured? A little bit because clearly, there's none up here. *points to head*  Real deal man. I'm going to work soon. How soon? God knows. To ease my nerves, I will do some research. The goal is to get 'top 3 hospitals' in mind. *fingers crossed* Ps; No matter where I'll be thrown at (not literally, ouch), I'd want to give my best. If God wills.

If there's something sweet that I want right now (seriously, now), it's cake! Any cake but not chocolate cake.. not feeling it at the moment. I don't have a sweet tooth. I used to.. it got out of hand. I ate Snickers everyday. Jumbo size. Every break time in my early uni days. I became fat - not kidding, add 10kgs fat. I got verbally bullied because of that. I avoided meeting people. Ugh, depressing years of my life! Med school helped me in a way. I became more health conscious. I worked out, drank more water, ate more greens, cut my carbs & sugar.. up till a point where it became a habit. I struggled back then - not anymore :) I'm happier now because of this healthier life. Ahem. Haha. I still eat everything though but it's all about being balanced. Do it for your own good - what I always say to myself. --- Oh! Now I know why I feel like having cake. I LOVE CATS . I wasn't a cat person back then, until my family decided to adopt  Salem . Salem used to be so small (not kitten small because we adopted Salem when Salem's already.. 4 years old? It took some time for us to get used to it. When Salem was younger, loved running around, biting people.. and we'd scream & run everytime Salem did that. I guess Salem thought we wanted to join the fun? Hahahaha NO. Haha. My first photo of Salem :) Today's funny story. Salem usually follows me around at home because.. that's just Salem: clingy. I don't mind at all :) Salem was sleeping in my room, on my bed in the afternoon. I had to go down to the kitchen so what I usually do, I'd leave my room with the door open so when Salem gets up, he can go out. I was downstairs for almost 2 hours. When I went back to my room, this happened: LOOK AT THIS. "I'm bored, I'm going out. Nahhhh, Imma stay. Mmm the floor's nice to sleep on." - S...

You know what I love about weddings? Happy event . Of course, it's a celebration when two becomes one ! I love watching families laughing, having the time of their lives, hugs and kisses, receiving gifts, wishing only good things.. I just love the atmosphere. The hosts are always so warm, so welcoming towards the guests. They always say "thank you for coming" but really, I'll be like "thank YOU for inviting!!" Reunion . Everyone gets excited meeting familiar faces, old faces.. or I'm the only one still excited about it? I rarely attend weddings, now that I think of it because I was studying far away. OK maybe it'll take some time for me to get used to the 'every weekend pergi kenduri'. Heh. I don't think I'll ever get bored though because back to number 1 :) Good food . Really, or is it just me? Something about weddings, the food served is always so good! The mains, desserts,.. basically semua lah . (What diet? Haha.) Nothing ...

I'm unemployed at the moment - waiting to be called. I'm not in a hurry though, not rushing. Certain things are just out of your control. So, in this case, I choose to be patient & do my part instead - brush up my knowledge *stare at the unopened books* . I'm utilizing the free time I have now mostly with my family & no regrets! This 'free time' lah jadinya this blog apart from the fact that I do miss blogging - talking to a screen with no reply. Weirdly soothing. This 'free time' also makes me spend a lot of time online - social media to be specific. I went on Facebook today & you know how it shows you things that happened years back? Like a reminder. Yeah. From there, I went wayyyyy back. Years and years back . It's funny to look back at the conversations I had with my friends! & sad when I snapped back to reality. You see, you meet people. You may become the closest friends this year, you might not the next year. A lot of things ca...

picture from Jakel's website Today, I accompanied my mom to Jakel Mall -  famous for textiles. Originally, we went to hunt for my mom's kain tudung but we ended up buying for raya too. It's exciting because it has been few years since we properly plan for baju raya . Is it too early? No. If you ever plan to jahit your own baju raya, go to the tailors and ask.. maybe some even already closed their orders! BUT if you plan to buy the ready made ones, last minute is OK :) Well, have you ever been to this mall? If you ever came across this mall, you'd know how huge it is & how grand it looks.. especially at night. I think the absolute plus point about this place is their customer service (with the best assistance, made my mom bought more - siapa untung sini ? Haha!), reasonable valet parking, huge range of textiles & prices.  I won't be surprised if this place is 'banjir' with people especially in the weekends! --- For l...

Gone were the days in the past few years where I just let them passed by - just like that. I love taking pictures. I love recording videos. My gallery is full yet so messed up. I forgot how they happened. So, here's to a new blog! I can look back sometime in the future. I want to remember :)
