First Day

Last week, I attended Program Transformasi Minda (PTM) at Bukit Keluang Beach Resort, Besut, Terengganu alongside other HOs who are going to work at either HRPZ, HTM or HKK. The 5 days program full of informative talks ended. Just like that. Mixed feelings.. Had myself doing somesaults in my tummy ever since. The day that I looked forward is here. It's today. Settled reporting to JKN Kelantan at Kota Bharu this morning with 103 other HOs. That didn't worry me at all. What worried me most is the first day of work at the hospital. Will I be enough? I've been looking forward to the busy days.. but to be busy, I have to be brilliant as well, yes? If I want to do a lot, I can't be clueless. With blended thoughts, I reminded myself to stay positive. There's 12 of us, for this batch working at HTM. There were a lot of forms to fill in and a lot of documents to be handed in. Done and dusted. Later on, we received our punchcards. I shrieked (not out loud) beca...

HTM, Here I Come

Image
You read that right. Alhamdulillah for the smooth sailing application done at an internet cafe. My sister was with me and that definitely helped me a lot. (considering the fact that I had to ask her how many kids do I have) 😂  Definitely nerve wrecking. It's true when they said: "Selamat berperang." This is it. I'm putting my right foot forward - going into a new phase in my life. For now, I have documents and more documents to be prepared. I hope I won't take time for granted. No time should ever be wasted. All the best to everyone! (sending nothing but only positive vibes)

That Letter Came

Image
Few days back, I received the 'love letter' from KKM! .. and I was not ready for it.. I mean, I waited for the email, yes, but there's been news speculating that we had to wait till the 3rd of July. So when the email came in, I hyperventilated. ✌ Basically, we're told that e-Housemen system (battle of choosing hospital) will be open tomorrow , 4th of July at 12PM. PTM (Program Transformasi Minda) / Induction Course will start on this 17th of July - 21st of July. And to get the necessary documents ready. 2 weeks time! Mixed emotions. It's coming. Clock is ticking. *slaps self. OK, it's REAL. Ps; Adik dah balik Surabaya =|

Makkah & Madinah, I Miss You

Image
This blog is so dusty kan.. who would have known, by the time this post is up, it's already the 5th day of Syawal.  HOW'S RAYA? For my family, it has always been simple. Just a celebration post Ramadhan with raya prayers in the morning for a kickstart. We usually go somewhere for vacation. I miss those days when my grandparents were still here. Gatherings were hardcore. I was still a small kid, always excited to balik kampung, greet my grandparents at the door & of course, main mercun. Haha. There's one time, I was rushed to the clinic because I didn't run fast enough and the jumping firecracker ended the last 'jump' at me - my leg, to be specific. Good times. (not where things got dangerous) I miss Makkah & Madina. I don't know when will be my next 'invitation' to go there. I miss how it's always fullhouse every prayer call.  I miss meeting strangers that felt like family within seconds.  I miss terawih prayers & the...

Towards Productive Ramadan

Image
Today marks the 12th day of Ramadan . How is it so far? It's the month where the rewards are multiplied. That is why, muslims are urged to do good deeds as much as we can - restrain ourselves from committing sins & be the best muslims as we can be. I've been wanting to visit the mosques even before Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, I managed to do so. Even better, with my family - break our fast, perform terawih prayers together.. ☺ Something about visiting mosques, I get a different kind of good feeling after. This year, my aim in Ramadan: To not skip terawih prayers. To read & understand the Quran from cover to cover. There's more, but these two are the main ones. All time favorite: Masjid Wilayah Lately, I've been feeling lost .. in the sense that, losing myself.. like something's missing. It's not all the time that I feel this way but when it strikes, boom.. pulls me down the drain. Not literally. Probably because from day to day, I'm g...

Pictures from Past Week(s)

Image
Here are some highlights from days/weeks back. Let's rewind..? WARNING: Many pictures ahead. Pokok buluh rebung.. .. I think. I remember following Papa, watch his love of planting trees - many kinds of them. I guess, it's a satisfaction when the plants grow healthily? Whatever it may be, it's a good deed. 😊 The weather was scorching hot. I wonder how other people manage to stay under the hot sun doing their daily jobs? Ahh the  sweet mangoes.  How can I forget. I ate it almost everyday (not that I ate just that). Still not over it. I can still eat more. The only food I can't take (till now) because I ate too much once upon a time: SHAWARMA. I love mangoes as fruits themselves, not as drinks or desserts. Tiba tiba. #funfact 30th of April: Papa's birthday . Secret recipe cake & KFC party at his office. A combo that can't go wrong. As I grow up, I realise that there's nothing to celebrate actually. It's the gathering ...

KB - KL

Image
I'm typing this when I should be packing. Haha. Oops. Takpa la. I'm almost done. It's been a week plus staying with papa, away from KL. Also went for 3 days Hatyai trip. That was my first time there. I've always loved going out, seeing other parts besides the familiar. I enjoyed the trip. No line, no wifi, no problem. Or it could be? 😆  Living in a complicated life is a blessing. I want to always take it this way. I'm not the only one going through it. It can be hard. It's still a blessing. Allah knows well. That's it for now!

Not Alone

Image
Having to attend courses alone.. it makes me nervous every time. I enjoy my ME times, sometimes.. but in this case, you still have to face people. *shrug* I knew I wanted to join O&G Crash Course by Medicorp when the dates were out. At first, none of my friends said anything when I shared about it. Fast forward, nobody could make it. Everyone had plans with family and what not. So, I thought, hey.. I really wanted to join.. I registered myself anyway. Then, it kicked in. It's real. I had to go ALONE. "Ahhh macam mana ni nak kena make new friends. I'm so awkward at that!" Dramas aside. That's what I assumed. Little did I know, Dar and Bo were also going. 😄 2 days of theories & practicals - learning new things, refreshing knowledge.. I'm always up for it. I needed this. The drive. And guess what? I made new friends from this course! *pats back* It's exhausting. The long hours of getting the most I could. This holiday is too l...

Rewind Anytime

Image
No matter how bad I wish I could go back to the yesteryears.. way back as a kid - when the worries I had was how to escape from mummy's rotan. 😜 Or planning the best of games I could play with my siblings, creating a mess which ended up to - yes, rotan again. Haha. Jokes aside, really. I'm turning 25 this year. SERIOUSLY. Responsibilities just get heavier. Life's a real deal. Not that I just realised about it but hey, reality check. Most of my friends landed their dreams jobs. Few got married. More are getting married! Two of my good friends back in Moscow are getting married in few months' time. Since we are still free, so why not.. have a bachelorette party! Or at least that's what we initially planned . Couldn't get all of us together so, sleepover pun OK. Let's be honest. We just wanted an excuse to meet up. Haha. We stayed for one night at Regalia Residence, nearby PWTC. It's a nice play. I guess the attraction would be the pool overlooking t...

YOLO

Image
Today, I accompanied my mom to Achik Printing to settle with the pamphlets for raya hampers this year. We got a parking spot right in front of the shop. Lucky. One of the workers told that the wait was going to be long. So, we decided to go somewhere else to eat but didn't want to waste the parking spot. Haha. As we walked under the hot sun, we decided to settle with any nearby place to eat - the famous Mail Mee Rebus to the rescue. Our orders came and I realised: these are a few of my favorite things! Mee Rebus, Teh O Ais, number 10. Cliche - it's the date of my birthday. Just an escape, in case if anyone asks me: "What's your lucky number?" Shh. When we got back to Achik (the shop), had to wait a little while for our turn. It took almost an hour for the design + the printing. I think that's fast! Plus, you get to change the designs as you desire. Just tell the person you're attended to. Plus, they're nice. Plus, it's cheap. Plus pl...

These Hands

These hands are not powerful enough. To turn back time. To make things better. To be of any help. To give all that I have. I want nothing in return. But I also have nothing to give. .. .. Is it a matter of I? Is it a matter of time? Part of me tells these hands to cover my face. Ashamed. Part of me tells me to raise my hands. And make dua.

Sabah Trip

Image
Last week, I went to SABAH! with papa's side of the family. I'd say it's a big group - the fact that we rented a bus company to drive us around. Yes. I vaguely remember the last time I went to Sabah so it's nice to refresh what I felt - peaceful. Day 1 - Hello Sabah. I was the first at the airport. A minute of wait felt so long because that was all I did. Shoot . I haven't checked in. Maybe others have. Off I went to drop my luggage & went in towards the departure hall. I was excited to see the kids the most. Maybe because with them I always have an excuse to be a kid again? Haha. YAY. Reached Sabah. Look at this beauty! 2 hours and 30 minutes of flying via Malindo Airlines. My first time and I think next time, I'd opt for this before checking on Air Asia. Free basic 30kgs check-in baggage, free food on flight.. nak apa lagi. Haha. We went for a quick meal at a restaurant called BTC Caterers . I still can't forget their satay. SO ...
