Not Alone

Having to attend courses alone.. it makes me nervous every time. I enjoy my ME times, sometimes.. but in this case, you still have to face people. *shrug* I knew I wanted to join O&G Crash Course by Medicorp when the dates were out. At first, none of my friends said anything when I shared about it. Fast forward, nobody could make it. Everyone had plans with family and what not. So, I thought, hey.. I really wanted to join.. I registered myself anyway. Then, it kicked in. It's real. I had to go ALONE. "Ahhh macam mana ni nak kena make new friends. I'm so awkward at that!" Dramas aside. That's what I assumed. Little did I know, Dar and Bo were also going. 😄 2 days of theories & practicals - learning new things, refreshing knowledge.. I'm always up for it. I needed this. The drive. And guess what? I made new friends from this course! *pats back* It's exhausting. The long hours of getting the most I could. This holiday is too l...

Rewind Anytime

No matter how bad I wish I could go back to the yesteryears.. way back as a kid - when the worries I had was how to escape from mummy's rotan. 😜 Or planning the best of games I could play with my siblings, creating a mess which ended up to - yes, rotan again. Haha. Jokes aside, really. I'm turning 25 this year. SERIOUSLY. Responsibilities just get heavier. Life's a real deal. Not that I just realised about it but hey, reality check. Most of my friends landed their dreams jobs. Few got married. More are getting married! Two of my good friends back in Moscow are getting married in few months' time. Since we are still free, so why not.. have a bachelorette party! Or at least that's what we initially planned . Couldn't get all of us together so, sleepover pun OK. Let's be honest. We just wanted an excuse to meet up. Haha. We stayed for one night at Regalia Residence, nearby PWTC. It's a nice play. I guess the attraction would be the pool overlooking t...

YOLO

Today, I accompanied my mom to Achik Printing to settle with the pamphlets for raya hampers this year. We got a parking spot right in front of the shop. Lucky. One of the workers told that the wait was going to be long. So, we decided to go somewhere else to eat but didn't want to waste the parking spot. Haha. As we walked under the hot sun, we decided to settle with any nearby place to eat - the famous Mail Mee Rebus to the rescue. Our orders came and I realised: these are a few of my favorite things! Mee Rebus, Teh O Ais, number 10. Cliche - it's the date of my birthday. Just an escape, in case if anyone asks me: "What's your lucky number?" Shh. When we got back to Achik (the shop), had to wait a little while for our turn. It took almost an hour for the design + the printing. I think that's fast! Plus, you get to change the designs as you desire. Just tell the person you're attended to. Plus, they're nice. Plus, it's cheap. Plus pl...

These Hands

These hands are not powerful enough. To turn back time. To make things better. To be of any help. To give all that I have. I want nothing in return. But I also have nothing to give. .. .. Is it a matter of I? Is it a matter of time? Part of me tells these hands to cover my face. Ashamed. Part of me tells me to raise my hands. And make dua.
